Career Opportunities as a Caregiver
Shalom Home Care Providers is in search of experienced and compassionate caregivers who understand the importance of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for a committed individual who has impeccable communication skills and is able to problem solve on the spot. Our Caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team.
Qualifications Include:
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in English
- Valid Driver’s License
- National Level 2 background check screening
- Proof of work eligibility
- Positive past employment and professional references
- At least two year of caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Must own a dependable automobile with current insurance
- Clean driving record and no history of criminal background
- Current CPR certification
- First Aid Training
- Many caregivers have completed high levels of training such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aid (HHA)
